Understairs shops have become rare in local community nowadays, while a few are still found in Hong Kong, especially in Sham Shui Po and Kowloon City area. If you would like to know the answers of above-mentioned questions, explore the community and get to know more about the history of these hidden gems and local culture, welcome to join our Half-day Community Hunt!

Date: 19th November 2022 (Saturday)
Time: 1pm – 6pm
Gathering/Dismissal Point: YMCA Mong Kong Holistic Development Centre
Community Hunt Locations: Sham Shui Po, Kowloon City & To Kwa Wan
Contents: Visit understairs shops in different districts to complete designated tasks and challenges
Language: Cantonese
Eligibility: Members of University & College YMCAs aged 17-29 (Membership application is open all-year-round. CLICK HERE for membership application.)
Fee*: $30/person (In groups of 2) or $50/person (Individual)
*A deposit of $50 will be required for each participant. Deposit will be fully refunded upon the completion of the activity with satisfactory performance.
Deadline: 16th November 2022 (Wednesday) 11:59pm

Remarks:

1. For applicants using the discount for group of 2, you will be assigned to the same group during the activity. For any group of 4, please complete the above application form by 2 groups seperately and send an email to [email protected] to let us know if you would like to be assigned to the same group, the organising committee will try to arrange.
2. In response to the latest situation of the epidemic, the mode of the event is subjected to change, and further notice will be given at that time.
3. The programme fee is non-refundable.
4. No matter the event is conducted in any format, participants will only get a full deposit refund upon successful completion of the programme.
