International Youth Conference on Social Innovation: Unleashing Creativity For Social Good
Jointly organised by University & College YMCA Department of Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong and Office of Student Affairs of Hong Kong Baptist University, the International Youth Conference on Social Innovation will be held in July this year. The Conference is funded by the Home Affairs Bureau Youth Development Commission.
Over 150 young people around the world will gather in Hong Kong to create innovative ideas for social good. Through a wide variety of programmes/ trainings, it is hoped that both local and overseas young people will be able to get inspired by the sharing of industry professionals and the good practices and experiences of existing social innovation projects, so as to generate creative ideas to fill the gaps of existing social services in home countries and the global village as a whole. The details of the Conference are as follows.

Theme: Unleashing Creativity for Social Good Date: 19-22 July 2019 Venue: Hong Kong Baptist University & The Cityview Target Participants: Young adults aged 16-29 Accommodation: Undergraduate Halls, Hong Kong Baptist University
For Local Delegates Fee: HKD$750* Registration Deadline: 12 April 2019 (Friday) *Fee includes meals, accommodation and local transportation in Hong Kong. (Applicant must have a valid membership of Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong. Membership application is open all-year around.)
For Overseas Delegates Fee: USD$100 per person* + Additional Expenses# (self-arranged) *Fee includes meals, accommodation and local transportation in Hong Kong. #Additional expenses (self-arranged) includes round-trip air tickets, travel insurance and VISA application fee (if any).
