Q: How to join this Lucky Draw?

A:

• Students who register for the “4+1 years” membership during the promotion period (8 August 2018 to 31 October 2018) is immediately entitled with one Lucky Draw ticket upon successful registration.

• All valid “4+1 years” members or any valid member registered before the promotion period will receive one Lucky Draw ticket for every successful  “4+1 years” membership referral made. One referral for one ticket, two for two, and so on. No upper limit.

Q: Can I get a Lucky Draw ticket by referring a friend from another institution to register for the “4+1 years” membership?

A: Yes, you can. As long as your friend is eligible to register for the “4+1 years” membership as stated above, you will receive one Lucky Draw ticket for every successful referral made.

Q: How will I know if I have won?

A: The winners' lucky draw reference number will be announced on 15 November 2018 in this Website and the University & College YMCA Facebook Page. An advertisement will be placed in Sing Tao Daily and The Standard on the same day with the event name and Website to remind participants to view the Announcement. A winning notice will be sent to winners by email they provided.

University & YMCA Membership Lucky Draw Terms & Conditions：

1. Participants must be valid members of University YMCA or College YMCA, Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong (the Organizer), excluding “1 years” and “3 years” members registered on or after 8 August 2018..
2. Students/Alumni who registered for the “4+1 years” membership during the promotion period (8 August 2018 to 31 October 2018) will be immediately entitled with one Lucky Draw ticket upon successful registration. All valid “4+1 years” members or any valid member registered before the promotion period will receive one Lucky Draw ticket for every successful  “4+1 year” membership referral made.. One referral for one ticket, two for two, and so on. No upper limit.
3. Every winner will get ONE Nintendo Switch™. There are 8 quotas in total. Every winner can win once only
4. The Lucky Draw will be held in the form of a lottery on 5 November 2018. The result will be published on Sing Tao Daily, The Standard, our website (uniy.ymca.org.hk) and University & College YMCA Facebook Page.
5. Winners need to come in person to collect the prize within the designated time and place. Authorized redemption is not allowed. Winners agree the photos and videos taken in redemption can be used for any promotional purposes of this event in any channels and media by the Organizer.
6. Upon prize redemption, winners are required to provide the below mentioned documents for verification purpose:
   • Winner’s Original Identification Document (Hong Kong Identity Card or Passport)
   • Winner’s Original Student ID Card;
   • Original Lucky Draw Ticket (Participant’s copy);
   • Winner’s notification printed copy.
7. The winners will be disqualified under the below conditions and the Organizer reserves the right to re-allocate the prizes:
   • The Organizer is unable to contact the winner due to the information provided are inaccurate, incorrect or omitted;
   • The Organizer is unable to contact the winner before 14 November 2018;
   • The winner fails to redeem the prize on or before 24 November 2018;
   • The winner’s membership has expired on the day of prize redemption.
8. The Organizer is not the supplier of the prizes. Any enquiry or complaint for the quality of the products provided relating thereto should be directed to the relevant manufacturers or suppliers. The Organizer shall assume no liability in respect thereof.
9. The Organizer shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury which is suffered or sustained, as a result of accepting or using any of the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
10. Upon joining this Lucky Draw, all participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bounded by the content and terms and conditions of this Lucky Draw. For any violation, the Organizer shall have the right to disqualify participants from participating this Lucky Draw. The Organizer reserves the right of legal action against any participant who has tampered with or disrupted the Lucky Draw.
11. Employees of Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong will not be eligible to participate in the Lucky Draw.
12. Should any dispute arise, the decision of the Organizer shall be final.
13. Any personal data collected will be used to contact and verify the identity of the participants for prize collection only, and will be handled properly and kept confidential. All personal data collected will be destroyed within 90 days after the end of the promotion.

15. The Chinese version of these Terms and Conditions shall prevail in case of any discrepancy between the English and Chinese versions.
